Minor earth tremors in Meda Dumbara

A minor earth tremor was reported last night in and around the Meda Dumbara area in Kandy, it was reported.
The Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB) said that the tremor was reported at around 10.30 p.m.
The vibrations have been recorded at the Earthquake Monitoring Stations (EMS) in Pallekele, Hakmana and Mahakanadarawa.
The GSMB has launched an inquiry to generate accurate information regarding the incident.
