Two dead after car crashes into bowser

Two persons were killed while another was wounded this morning after a car crashed into the back of a tractor bowser on Bandaranaike Mawatha in Kandy. 

Two passengers of the car, which was traveling from Getambe towards Kandy, had succumbed to injuries upon admission to the Kandy General Hospital.

The driver of the tractor bowser had sustained injuries from the accident. 

The deceased have been identified as a 42-year-old and a 39-year-old from Kandy and Katugatota respectively. 

The driver of the car has been arrested over the incident while Kandy Police is conducting further investigations.
