Five get capital punishment over killing of a man 27-years ago

Five suspects have been sentenced to death by the Tangalle High Court over a murder of an individual in 1989, Ada Derana reporter says.

 

The judgment was delivered when the case was taken up for hearing before High Court Judge Sujatha Alahapperuma on Tuesday afternoon  (08). 

 

The accused had been indicted on charges of murdering A.M. Andiris during the 89 JVP insurrection period.
