Teenage boy found dead with hands bound

The body of a 15-year-old boy, who is suspected to have been abused and murdered, has been found inside a hut at Marapana, Galinna in the Ratnapura police division.
Police said that the discovery was made this morning (10) and that the boy’s hands were bound with a cloth strip while he had died under suspicious circumstances.
The deceased has been identified as Anjana Kavindu Kumara, a resident of Marapana in Galinna.
The Ratnapura Magistrate is to conduct the magistrate’s inquiry while Ratnapura Police is conducting investigations.
Ada Derana reporter said that it is suspected that the boy had been abused and murdered.
