Bandula wants true facts and figures of CB

The government has lied to the international community on true facts and figures of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, MP Bandula Gunawardena said.
The observation was made at a press conference held in Colombo this afternoon (06).
“Sri Lanka’s gross official reserves were amounted to 8.2 billion US dollars during our time. It has now been reduced to 5.3 billion US dollars,” Gunawardena said.
He also went on to say the Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID) has questioned some 667 businessmen since the new Government came in power. Under the circumstances, he pointed out the investors have found it uncomfortable to invest in Sri Lanka any more.
