Man arrested with Kerala Ganja in Fort

A person has been arrested for the possession of Kerala Ganja in Fort, Ada Derana reporter said.


The suspect was arrested following an operation carried according to information received by the Special Task Force (STF) personnel.


The suspect was arrested while transporting 03 kg and 180g of Kerala Ganja on a train from Vavuniya to Mount Lavinia. The arrested suspect is a 60- year old resident of Vavuniya, Police said.


He will be produced before the Fort Magistrate’s Court while the Fort Police are conducting further investigations.
