MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage says that the Joint Opposition will commence the protest march from Kandy tomorrow as scheduled while respecting the court order.

The Kandy Chief Magistrate today issued a restraining order against four MPs of the Joint opposition not to commence the protest march within the Kandy city limits.

The order was issued on MPs including Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Dilum Amunugama, Keheliya Rambukwella, and Lohan Ratwatte.

MP Lohan Ratwatte told Ada Derana since the court order has been issued against them, the rest of the group would first pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic before taking part in the protest.
