Moves of JO like of Alibaba and 40 thieves - Soysa

The efforts of the Joint Opposition are no more different then “Alibaba and 40 thieves”, Minister Vijith Vijithamuni Soysa says.


The observation was made while he was speaking to reporters in Colombo on Wednesday (03).


He also went on to say that protest marches of this manner were organized in past demanding either good governance or democracy, but one of a main slogans of Monday’s march was to demand the presidency. 


“In a bid to make the father President again, son goes on protest marches,” he added.


Soysa also pointed out that the move of the Joint Opposition showed their eager to achieve personal gains, but not to support for the sake of people.
