PM to leave for China tomorrow

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will leave for China tomorrow on an official visit during which he will engage in an inspection tour of the South Western region of the country. 

Ministers Anura Priyadarshana Yapa and Champika Ranawaka as well as several state officials will be part of the PM’s delegation which will remain in China till August 17, the Prime Minister’s Office said.

Wickremesinghe is expected to tour the country’s industrial zones, container terminals, technology parks, financial centers and other locations crucial for economic development.
