Special commodity levy on imported potato increased

Special commodity levy on imported potato per a kilogram has been increased from Rs.35 to 40 (by Rs.5) with effect from today, the Finance Ministry said.
Import tax on big onions was also increased from Rs 25 to 40 per kg on 21 August.
