No point of forming a new party - Vasu

August 29, 2016   05:05 pm

A new party should not be formed, it would be ideal to contest the polls under the name of the Joint Opposition, MP Vasudeva Nanayakkara says.

The observation was made while speaking at a press conference held in Colombo this afternoon.

“There is no point of forming a new party, we can contest the election with this name under a new symbol,” he added.

He also went on to say that the ownership of the party would be decided after considering the legal background and registration.
