Two cops dead after motorcycle-lorry crash in Katana

Two policemen were killed after a motorcycle collided with a lorry near the Police Academy in Katana.

The deceased have been identified as two Constables, aged 27 and 46, attached to the Katana Police. 

They had succumbed to injuries after being admitted to the Negombo Hospital following the accident. 

The driver of the lorry has been arrested while Katana Police is conducting investigations.
