Two cops hospitalized with stab wounds in Chunnakam

Two cops attached to the Chunnakam police station in Jaffna have been hospitalized with stab wounds, police sources said.


The officers were attacked by two unidentified persons who had arrived in a motorbike this afternoon (23), it was reported. They have suffered non life threatening injuries following the attack, a source from the hospital said.


A police investigation is underway to identify the suspects, an official added.
