Cabinet nods proposal to increase MP allowance to Rs.100,000

The proposal to increase allowance for Parliamentarians to Rs.100,000 has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers today. 


The proposal was submitted for a review by the Ministry of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media.


The allowance will be given to the 225 Parliamentarians, and the proposal was accepted during today’s Cabinet of Ministers’ meeting, it was reported.
