Underworld figure ‘Rattaran’ shot dead

An individual, who is believed to be a member of an underworld gang, has been shot and killed by two unknown gunmen on a motorcycle in the Kelanimulla area in Angoda.
Mudiyanselage Suranga Kumara alias ‘Rattaran’ (36) was traveling by motorcycle from Kelanimulla to Angoda when he was gunned down by the suspects.
The postmortem examination is to be performed today while Angoda Police is conducting further investigations into the shooting.
