Man held with foreign currency at BIA

A person has been arrested by Customs officials at the Bandaranaike International Airport while he was trying to carry a stock of foreign and local currency worth Rs.112 million, a Spokesperson said.


The suspect was arrested by the officials attached to the Sri Lanka Customs (SLC), while he was preparing to board a flight to Dubai, Customs Media Spokesperson said.
