Bar Association election rescheduled for March 15

Election to choose a President to the Bar Association has been rescheduled to be held on 15 March, the Secretary of the association said.


The election to decide a President to association which was scheduled to be held last week was postponed until further notice on 20 February.


Lawyers U.R. de Silva, Anura Medagoda and R.R.S. Thangarajah are contesting for the presidency post, its President Geoffrey Alagaratnam said.
