TV Derana ranked Sri Lanka’s No. 1 TV channel

TV Derana has become the number one most-watched television channel in Sri Lanka surpassing all other channels, according to the latest LMRB research data. 

Meanwhile the popular teledrama “Sidu,” which is telecast on TV Derana, was voted as the Teledrama of the Year at the SLIM-Nielsen People’s Awards 2017.  

The awards ceremony was held for the eleventh consecutive year yesterday (10) at Waters Edge in Battaramulla, to recognize the brands and personalities that have left a lasting impression on the people of Sri Lanka.  

The SLIM-Nielsen Peoples Awards stands out and is distinct as the public acts as the panel of judges and are able to rate their favorite brands, personalities, advertisements, films, tele-dramas etc. and apprehend their verdict.
