Wimal will be submitting a second appeal for bail - Samaraweera

National Freedom Front (NFF) MP Jayantha Samaraweera stated a bail revision application would be filed on behalf of MP Wimal Weerawansa.
He further added that Weerawansa has become a political prisoner, and will be working closely with lawyers in order to make his bail proposal successful.
Weerawansa had submitted a 12 page letter to the Speaker, Karu Jayasuriya, notifying him of the hunger strike and stating that Weerawansa is prepared to do anything for the betterment of the motherland.
These sentiments were brought out during a speech made by MP Wimal Weerawansa in parliament yesterday (22).
