Two suspects nabbed with Tramadol pills

Two suspects with 400 tablets of the prescription drug Tramadol have been arrested in Mabola, Wattala.

On receipt of intelligence information to the Navy, a group of naval personnel attached to the Western Naval Command in coordination with Peliyagoda Police apprehended the suspects this evening (13).

The medicine which is also used as an abused drug by some people, was arrested when the suspects were transferring them by a motorbike, SLN said. 

The arrested persons, tablets and the motorbike were handed over to the Peliyagoda Police for onward investigations.
