The election registration form (BC form), related to the new voting lists, should be handed over to the relevant Grama Niladhari without further delay, the People’s Action for Free and Fair Elections (PAFFREL) pointed out.

The PAFFREL said the latest voting list will be utilized for all the upcoming elections.

The distribution of  the election registration form was commenced on May 15. Village level Government officers have been appointed by the Registering Officer of the respective district to provide the BC form to the chief occupant of each house.

Chief occupants will have to sign the counter foil and give it back to the enumerator to certify that the registration form has been received. The chief occupant of each household has to fill all required information in the registration form.
