Train Drivers Union to go on strike today

The Train Drivers Union stated that they will be engaging in strike at 12.00 am today (21). 

The Union stated that the strike is being staged over salary anomalies and many other reasons. 

Furthermore, upon discussion held with the Secretary of the Prime Minister, Saman Ekanayake yesterday (20), the strike that was supposed to begin at midnight yesterday (20), was suspended. 

It has bern reported that the union will be holding 8 reasons accountable for the strike that will be staged.
