Four arrested for crossing Lankan maritime borders

Four Indian fisherman who had crossed the Sri Lankan maritime boundaries have been arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy. 

Navy personnel stated that the individuals were arrested off the North Western oceanic region of the Delf  Island. 

The trailer boat that was brought along with the fishermen was taken into custody at the time of the arrest. 

The Navy stated that both the trailer boat and the fishermen will be handed over to the Assistant Directorate of Fisheries in the near future.
