No rice shortages to worry about - Bathiudeen

Minister of Industry and Commerce, Rishad Bathiudeen stated that the country is not facing a shortage or rice stocks. 

He added that the necessary volume of rice is being stored in warehouses as of now, and that the public should now worry about encountering such a shortage. 

The statements were brought out during a media briefing held in Vavuniya.
