NGO’s affecting judiciary not allowed to achieve goals - Dr. Rajapakshe


Minister of Justice and Buddhasasana, Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe stated that no domestic or foreign body can question the Independence of the Judiciary. 

 

He further added that the government will not allow Non Governmental Organizations (NGO’s) to influence the Judiciary to achieve their personal oraganisation goals. 

 

Rajapakshe made these statements during a ceremony held to lay the foundation block of the new Court premises that will be built in Gampola.
