Fire breaks out at Hakgala Botanical Gardens

A fire had erupted at the Hakgala Botanical gardens, in Nuwara Eliya.
The fire which erupted yesterday (15) was extinguished with the help of police and navy personnel who were at the scene.
Although no casualties were reported due to the fire, over 40 acres of land had been destroyed in the process.
Nuwara Eliya Police have begun further investigations on the matter.
