Disallow Ravi from attending any intl events till he’s rid of dementia – Gammanpila

MP Udaya Gammanpila requested the President and Prime minster to refrain from sending Foreign Minister Ravi Karunanayake to any international gathering till he is rid of his apparent state of dementia.  

Speaking to the media at a press conference yesterday (3), MP Gammanpila stated that the motion of no-confidence that was submitted by the Joint Opposition against the Foreign minister will question the integrity of the UNP.

He further stated that when questioned, even though Minister Karunanayake did not know who ‘CON MP RK’ on the phone of Arjun Aloysius was, that he very well knew who it was. He also stated that out of the 225 parliamentarians, there were no other ministers bearing the first name Ravi and a last name beginning with the letter ‘K’

MP Gammanpila also stated that several ministers within the UNP had approached him privately and pledged their support to the motion of no-confidence that was submitted by the JO.
