Ven. Tempitiye Thero granted bail by HC

Convener of the Inter-University Bhikku Action Committee, Ven. Tempitiye Sugathananda Thero was granted bail by the Colombo High Court today (8).
The arrest was made on June 22, whilst the Thero was receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.
Ven. Tempitiye Sugathananda Thero sustained injuries during the situation of unrest that arose during the anti-SAITM protest and subsequent vandalization of the Health Ministry on June 21.
