Navy and STF combine for drug bust

A group of drug dealers in possession of a large quantity of Kerala Ganja were apprehended today (10) near the Eluthoor intersection in Mannar. 

A combined raid operation conducted by the Sri Lanka Navy and the Police Special Task Force successfully uncovered a band of 03 individuals peddling drugs in the area. 

The government operatives were able to confiscate 30kg worth of Kerala Ganja. The suspects, along with the confiscated narcotics were handed over to the Mannar Police department for further questioning.
