Western Province weighs in favour of 20A

A majority of representatives from the Western Provincial Council have voted in favour of the proposed 20th Amendment to the Constitution to hold PC polls on the same day. 

Accordingly, the draft Bill was voted for with 45 in favour, 28 against and 4 abstaining. 

This marks the second Provincial council voting in favour of the 20th Amendment today (11), with the Eastern PC passing the draft Bill earlier today.
