Arjuna Mahendran to appear before Bond Commission today

Former Governor of the Central Bank Arjuna Mahendran is scheduled to appear before the Presidential Commission of inquiry today (19), to submit evidence for the ongoing inquiry on the dealings of Perpetual Treasuries Limited.  

Arjuna Mahendran, who appeared before the Commission on September 13, was issued summons to be present at the Commission today. The declaration was made as the Commission found the evidence provided by the former Governor of the Central Bank essential for the ongoing inquiry. 

The Commission informed Arjuna Mahendran that he was to appear before the Commission as Owner of PTL Arjun Aloysius refused to provide evidence before the Commission.
