Official term of Eastern Provincial Council to end at midnight

The Official term of the Eastern Provincial Council will come to an end today (30), at midnight.
Accordingly all administrative duties of the Eastern Provincial Council will be carried out by the Governor of the Eastern Province Rohitha Bogollagama.
The Eastern Provincial Council which comprises of the Ampara, Trincomalee and Batticaloa districts will be dissolved till Provincial Council elections are held.
