Bambalapitiya Grama Niladhari arrested on bribery charge

The Grama Niladhari Officer of Bambalapitiya has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.
He has been arrested by sleuths of the Bribery Commission while accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000.
The suspect had solicited the bribe in order to include a businessman’s name in the electoral register.
