Special DMC established to resolve Uma-Oya crisis

A special Disaster Management Centre (DMC) will be established in Bandarawela to discuss the issues related to the Uma-Oya project and formulate a solution to the ongoing problems faced by residents of the region. 

The Badulla DMC has confirmed that a special centre will be established in Bandarawela tomorrow (1). 

This unit that will be established with cabinet approval will function till January 30, 2018.
