Railway strike from midnight tomorrow

Railway trade unions including railway drivers, station masters, and guards have decided to engage in a 48-hour strike action with effect from midnight tomorrow (8).

Speaking to Ada Derana, Station Masters’ Union President Janaka Fernando said the strike will be staged based on a number of demands including salary anomalies.
