Budget provides no relief to local farmers – Chamara Sampath

Chief Minister of the Ova Province Chamara Sampath Dassanayake stated that the 2018 budget should have given more focus and concessions to the local farming community. 

Chief Minister Dassanayake stated that the budget has provided little to no relief for local potato farmers. 

While addressing a gathering in Gampaha, he further stated that the poverty stricken people have not been aided through the new budget.
