Group opens fire at businessman’s jeep in Seeduwa

A jeep of a businessman was shot by a group last night (14) in Seeduwa area, Ada Derana Correspondent reported.

Shots were fired at a jeep down Eriyagahalinda road, Liyanagemulla, Seeduwa by a group who were travelling in a car.

Five bullets have been fired at the jeep and one on the jeep’s Tyre, preliminary investigations revealed. 

No causalities have been reported from the incident so far.

The incident had been recorded in a CCTV camera nearby, and the CCTV recordings will be used for further investigations,Seeduwa Police said.

Further investigations into the incident are being carried out by Seeduwa police.
