Election officials convene with Mahinda Deshapriya

A discussion was held between Elections Commission Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya and Deputy Election and Assistant District Election Commissioners today (18).
The discussion took place at Election Commissioner’s Office, it is reported.
The discussions was held with regard to the forthcoming elections, reports said.
Meanwhile, the Elections Commissioner said that the date for accepting nominations for the upcoming local government polls will be announced on the November 27.
Accordingly, the preliminary work on the election is being carried out, according to Mahinda Deshapriya.
