Corrupt politicos of the former regime have not been penalized - Sarath Fonseka

There are issues pertaining to the failure to enforce the law against the corrupt politicians of the previous regime, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka said.

The Minister of Regional Development made these comments while answering questions raised by journalists following an event in Makola yesterday (12).

He pointed out the need of penalizing individuals who have committed fraudulent acts, before the end of term of the present government. 

Meanwhile, former Minister Basil Rajapaksa said that their party had nominated candidates against the present corrupted government, to contest at the upcoming LG polls.
