NPC Budget for 2018 unanimously approved

The 2018 budget of the Northern Provincial Council was unanimously approved following a vote that was taken by the council members. 

The vote was held yesterday (14) where no objections were brought forwards against the budget. 

The 2018 Budget of Northern Provincial Council was presented by Northern Province Chief Minister C. V. Vigneswaran on December 12. 

The debate over the budget of the NPC was held on December 13, and December 14. An amount of Rs. 25,000 million has been allocated for the development purposes of the Northern Provincial Council.
