Two underworld gang members arrested in Thotalanga

Two persons suspected to be part of an underworld gang involved in a series of organized crimes have been arrested by STF personnel at Thotalanga, the Police Spokesman’s Office said.
A media release said that the suspects were arrested this morning (20) and that the suspects were engaged in drug trafficking by the organized criminal gang.
The arrested suspects are resident of Ferguson Road, Colombo 15 and are aged 23 and 26.
The suspects who were arrested by the Police Special Task Force (STF) have been handed over Organised Crimes Investigation Division for onward action.
