Priyani Jayasinghe’s husband arrested over her murder

Singer Priyani Jayasinghe’s husband has been arrested near the Panadura Railway Station over her killing yesterday (08).
Singer Priyani Jayasinghe was found stabbed to death yesterday, at her home in Panadura, stated Police Media Spokesperson.
The murder had been committed using a pair of scissors and the police suspected her husband regarding the death.
However, the husband had evaded arrest up until this morning (09) when he was arrested at the Panadura Railway Station.
It has been revealed that the singer and the husband had been in conflicts for over a year, says the police.
Priyani Jayasinghe had been 51 years old at the time of her death.
