The Lotus Road in Colombo is temporarily closed off due to a protest march, says Ada Derana Reporter.

The protest march is held by the government service executive officers based on several demands including the disparity in salaries.

The march, held in parallel to the sick-note campaign organized by government service executive officers, commenced from the Fort Railway Station.

They are planning to continue the march to the Presidential Secretariat and handover a letter regarding their demands, said All Island Service Executive Officers’ Joint Committee Secretary H.A.L. Udayasiri.
