Sierra Leonean arrested on illegal entry to SL

A Sierra Leon national has been apprehended at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) for illegally entering the country, the Police Media Spokesperson’s Office said.

The arrest has been made by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officers at the BIA.

The 37-year-old suspect will be produced before the Negombo Magistrate’s Court, today (12).

The CID is conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
