Prime Minister to visit Norway

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to leave the country for Norway on Wednesday (03), on an official visit.

The Prime Minister will meet with leaders including Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, President of the Storting (Parliament) of Norway Tone Wilhelmsen Trøen and Norwegian Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Søreide for high-level bilateral talks.

The Prime Minister’s delegation will include Minister of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development and Rural Economic Affairs Vijith Vijayamuni Soysa, MPs Kavinda Jayawardena and Hesha Withanage.

Following his visit to Norway, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to travel to London, the PM’s Office said.
