Special HC to hear Gotabaya’s case daily from Dec 4

The Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar today (09) issued an order to conduct daily hearings of the case against the former Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa from December 04.
The case was filed against the former Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and six others for allegedly misappropriating Rs 49 million of state funds to build the D.A. Rajapaksa Memorial Museum.
When the case was taken up before the Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar for the first time on September 10, the three-judge bench ordered to release the defendants on bail.
