Ten sentenced to death over murder of 6 members of same family

The Tangalle High Court today sentenced 10 individuals to death over the murders of 6 persons of the same family at Angunakolapelessa in 1998.

The suspects were produced before court today (11), when the verdict was delivered by Tangalle High Court Judge R.S.S. Sapuwida.

The suspects were found guilty over the murder of 6 persons of the same family, who were hacked to death at Radanpala Gedara in Digwewa, Angunakolapelessa on December 18, 1998.
