Mano reveals reason for people’s disappointment in govt

October 20, 2018   03:17 pm

Minister Mano Ganesan says that the people of the country are a bit disappointed and that the reason for that unhappiness is the conflict of opinions and democratic disagreements between the President and the Prime Minister in the government.

The Minister of National Integration, Reconciliation and Official Languages pleaded from both leaders to avoid pushing the people to the “wrong place” because of that disappointment.

He stated that the Yahapalana (Good Governance) government should continue for longer and that despite its various problems the government had created a freedom which hitherto had not existed.

Mano Ganesan said that if the government is to continue longer the United National Party (UNP) must name a Prime Minister and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) must name its Presidential candidate.
