Youth shot for second time in over a month in Maligawatte

A twenty-three year old youth was injured and hospitalised following a shooting incident at YMM Junction in Maligawatte.
Police said that the shooting was carried out at around 4.00 p.m. today (20) by two gunmen on a motorcycle who fled after opening fire at the victim.
The injured youth has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital and is receiving treatment at the ICU.
Police said that the youth is the same individual who was injured in a similar shooting near the ‘Laksetha Sevana’ housing complex in Maligawatte on September 12.
