Mahinda assumes duties as new PM

Mahinda Rajapaksa has assumed duties as the newly appointed Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, a short while ago.

The ceremonial event was held in Prime Minister’s Office with the blessings of religious sectors.

Accordingly, Mahinda Rajapaksa assumed duties as the 22nd Prime Minster of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
